Bozeman wounds the Wolfpack

In the 2nd game of a double header at Legends Stadium a lot of high expectation for this one. We knew Glacier had a toughs schedule and are better then the 0-2 record they had. Unfortunately for Glacier they lost their quarterback Evan Todd on the first drive as he took a shot to the head. I am no doctor and I wouldn't speculate what he had but Glacier used caution with their signal caller and we didn't see for the rest of the game. Even though Glacier lost their quarterback the wolfpack responded with an interception of Kris Brown and then Preston Blaine did the rest scampering for 41 yards and the score. Bozeman lead 7-6. JT Allen came into the ball game and did an admirable job going 8-11 for the game and 102 yards passing. I also have to give props to JT he took some shots and kept fighting. He will be sore in the morning. Unfortunately for Glacier they had to play three quarterbacks.

Glacier kept hanging around as the defense picked off Brown three times. Glacier really fought back and you have to give that defense credit as this team could have folded it in and they didn't when they lost their quarterback. Preston Blaine shoulder the offense to the tune of 29 carries for 179 yards and 2 TD's. Drew Deck came up big with 8 catches for 80 yards and a Touchdown.

Glacier really made the night tough for Bozeman and while the Hawks picked up 500 yards of offense they missed a lot of chances to put the game away. Bozeman is gettable in my opinion.

Glacier finds itself in a really tough spot at 0-3. The good news is they are at home the next few weeks. That being said the wolfpack's schedule does them no favors as Helena comes to town next week followed by crosstown against Flathead.

My final thought: It is really tough for me to gauge this wolfpack football team. Losing Todd as early as they did this team was really going to fight an uphill battle. As odd as it maybe to say this but Glacier is one of the most dangerous 0-3 teams in the state. I don't expect the towel to come in anytime soon but next week Glacier is in must win territory.
