Every coach preaches and talks about starting fast and getting off to a good start to the season. Friday night the Braves unfortunately tripped on the Bison 79-45. The Braves went the first 6 minutes without a made basket from the field. A lot of credit has to go to Great Falls as thier defense forced a lot of Flathead errors and turnovers.

Lots of new new faces getting thier first taste of varsity so growing pains are to be expected. Anthony Jones and Gabe Adams each had 9 points (unofficially). Kyle Torgerson had 21 points in my book and exploded in the 2nd quarter with 17 points.

Positives... Adams a sophomore looked to settle into the game in the 2nd half using his frame and size to muscle out for rebounds. Tannen Behl was good on the glass as well coming up with some 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities.

The Braves will need to clean up the turnovers as they turn around and take on the Class AA defending state champs CMR who defeated Glacier 64-48 Friday night.

You can hear the game on AM 600 with the Three Rivers Bank Pregame show around 2:30pm.
